DESCRIPTION: APW – Illinois, Hallmark, 23J, Grade 510, 14/12S, 14K gold OF original case with intials on rear, gold cuvette with signature ring and presentation, silvered dial with applied gold numerals, gilt open diamond hands, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel, satin nickel damascene, s#3424961. Gross weight of assembled watch 48.3 dwt (75.2 g). A rare top grade watch, per the excellent info at www.illinoiswatchguide.com it is believed that 483 total examples of the Grade 510 were produced. CONDITION: Mvt: GRO, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few fine and micro-fine scratches, mild small spot at perimeter of larger winding wheel; very near flawless dial has slight bend at edge under bezel near 11; near mint hands, seconds-hand has minor oxide; case shows little wear, some fine scratches on rear shoulder and cuvette, no dents or dings, excellent engraving detail; bow pivots freely, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal with a scratch at lower left.
